Kanpur: Alluding to a recent remark of BJP MP from Unnao Sakshi Maharaj that 2019 Lok Sabha elections will be the last, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday said `people are saying that there will be no election in the days to come, so we will have to exercise our franchise and save the democracy`. `We are not supposed to indulge in `chaiwala´ and `chowkidar´ debate. We should exercise our franchise, elect a new PM and save our democracy,` Akhilesh told a gathering of party workers and supporters on the lawns of his ancestral house in Saifai on the occasion of Holi.
