Udupi only dist to face polls in 2 phases

Udupi: Udupi has emerged as a special district by facing the Lok Sabha election 2019 in two phases. On April 18, a section of residents from here will vote for the Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency and in the second phase on April 23, another section will vote to choose their candidate for the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency. Udupi ZP CEO Sindhu B Roopesh said, `Udupi is the only district which faces voting in both the first and second phase in the entire state this year.
