Coimbatore: DMK candidate for Pollachi parliament constituency K Shanmugasundaram filed his nomination papers at the sub-collector´s office on Friday. Fielded against him is the AIADMK´s sitting MP C Mahendran, who is likely to file papers on Monday. Shanmugasundaram, 44, of Samarayapatti in Madathukulam in Tirupur, has filed a total of four nomination papers and if one were to be rejected for some reason, election officials could consider the remaining.
