Telangana budget: Irrigation gets top priority

HYDERABAD: Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in his avatar as finance minister presented his first budget, though an interim one, keeping the focus firmly on farmers as he gave top priority to irrigation and agriculture. While all poll promises were given allocation, no new schemes or announcements were made in the Interim Budget.
