Two Sindh cabinet members have expressed concerns that the federal government does not have the resources or the capacity to manage Karachi’s three major public hospitals. In view of the Supreme Court’s decision on the provincial administration’s appeal, the control of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) and the National Institute of Child Health (NICH) will return to the Centre.
