15 January 2019 The Committee on the Rights of the Child today concluded its consideration of the combined third to sixth periodic report of Guinea on how it implements the provisions of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Aly Diané, Permanent Representative of Guinea to the United Nations Office at Geneva, introducing the report, outlined the steps taken to strengthen the conformity of the national legislative framework with the Convention and its Optional Protocols, such as the adoption of the 2012 Code on Military Justice and the 2017 Anti-Corruption Law, and the 2016 revision of the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedures.
