Looking to add quality versatility to his infield mix, Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen dipped into his former client pool and made Jed Lowrie the latest significant addition to New York`s much-improved roster. A source confirmed to MLB.com`s Mark Feinsand that the Mets and Lowrie have agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract that is pending a physical. The club has not confirmed the deal.
