Government opens up new routes for tourists in Ladakh

The home ministry on Tuesday cleared the state government´s proposal to open up 5 new routes through the moonscape for tourists and four trails for trekkers. The validity of tourist permits for travelling through these routes has also been increased to 15 days. This will make it easier for tourists to draw up their itinerary across Ladakh district.
