Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three men wanted in connection with June shooting in the city’s Black Creek neighbourhood. Police on Wednesday released security-camera video of the shooting, which happened in the early morning on Jun. 10In the video, a group of people can be seen in a parking lot near Jane St. and Driftwood Ave. At around 3:55 a.m., three masked males with guns confront the group, demand cash and property, then hold them up at gunpoint and go through their pockets, police said in a news release. In the video, one of the suspects can then be seen to hit an alleged victim in the face with a gun, causing it to discharge. The 29-year-old victim falls to the ground between two parked vehicles. Shortly after, all three suspects can be seen to approach him, stand over him and fire. The alleged victim was shot several times using three separate firearms, police said. All three masked men then fled the area on foot, police said. The first suspect is described as five-foot-10 to six-foot, with a thin build. He wore a grey baseball hat, a light blue zipper jacket, light blue jeans and black shoes. His face was covered with a light-coloured fabric.The second suspect is also described as five-foot-10 to six-foot, with a medium build. He wore a black hoodie with the hood up, grey track pants and black shoes. His face was also covered.The third suspect is listed as five-foot-11 to six-foot-one, with a thin build. He wore a dark blue hoodie with the hood up, black pants, and black shoes. His face was also covered.Investigators have also identified a vehicle of interest in the shooting. It is described as a black 2017 or 2018 Honda Civic, with a partial licence plate of ---- 229.
