Satechi Launches New USB-C Wireless Charger for Qi-Based iPhones

Satechi today announced the launch of a new Aluminum Type-C PD & QC Wireless Charger that`s designed to charge iPhone and Android devices at their maximum wireless charging speeds. For iPhones, that means the wireless charger will offer 7.5W charging speeds, while Android devices will charge at up to 10W. Satechi`s new wireless charger is a flat charger that`s made from silver or space gray aluminum with a black mat at the top to keep the smartphone from shifting around while charging. According to Satechi, the wireless charger has multiple safety features built in, including temperature protection and foreign object detection that will turn the charger off if unwanted metal objects or temperature spikes are detected. An integrated LED light is included to let users know when a device is charging, and light color will vary based on charging speed. Satechi`s Aluminum Type-C PD & QC Wireless Charger can be purchased from the Satechi website or from Amazon for $44.99.
