North and South Korea and the United Nations Command all agreed to withdraw firearms and guard posts from the demilitarized zone village of Panmunjom on Monday, according to Reuters. Seoul`s defense ministry announced the decision and said it would be implemented by the end of the week in the latest of a series of changes between the two Koreas. Pyongyang, Seoul, and the UN Command held their second round of talks in the peace village to discuss how the demilitarize the border in accordance with the latest inter-Korean pact agreed to by both sides at last month`s summit in Pyongyang.
