Ban on construction of roads to curb air pollution in NCR

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Pollution Control Board (RPCB) has banned the construction of roads in Alwar and parts of Bharatpur (part of NCR), as part of controlling air pollution in the NCR region. Officials say that widespread construction activities generate a lot of dust, which shots up the pollution level way beyond the permissible limits.
