Swine flu claims 50 lives in a month in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: It´s a double whammy for the state´s health authorities. At a time when the health department is striving to curb Zika, the swine flu toll figures, released on Saturday, have posed a major challenge for them. The state has recorded 27 deaths between October 3 and October 18, while 235 persons were tested positive for the disease in the same period. Since September 18, 50 lives were lost due to swine flu, of which 15 were reported in the Kota division.
