GLEN CARBON – The Father McGivney boys’ soccer team is ready to make a little more history. The Griffins, in their fourth varsity season, will face Murphysboro at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinals of the Class 1A Belleville Althoff Sectional. Belleville Althoff (14-4-3) will face Breese Central (14-11) in the other semifinal at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The championship game is slated for 1 p.m. Saturday.
