M J Akbar sues scribe levelling #MeToo charges for defamation

New Delhi: Union Minister MJ Akbar on Monday filed a criminal defamation case in Delhi`s Patiala House Court against journalist Priya Ramani, through his advocates Karanjawala & Co, news agency ANI reported. The sexual harassment charges against MJ Akbar began with a tweet by journalist Priya Ramani on October 8, in which she said that an article she wrote for Vogue India a year ago on her experience was actually about MJ Akbar. Scribe Priya Ramani`s allegations found the first mention; she was the first one to publicly accuse Akbar of misconduct. ......
