PANAJI: Goa police arrested Manjunath Dodamani, a resident of Old Goa, on charges of raping and murdering his 24-year-old neighbour whose body was found near the helipad at Old Goa on Friday. Deputy inspector general of police (DIG) Parmaditya said the accused was known to the victim since childhood as they lived in the same vicinity. `On October 9, Dodamani, 23, gave the woman a lift at around 10.30pm on the pretext of dropping her to her residence.
