Power cost rises again in Punjab as PSPCL hikes FCA surcharge

PATIALA: With the regulator approving hike in fuel cost adjustment (FCA) surcharge, board of directors of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has decided to levy increased surcharge that has led to a slight increase in cost of power in the state. The power corporation has notified the September 20 decision taken by the board of directors in which FCA surcharge had been revised at 12 paisa /unit for both metered and unmetered connections.
