Yelich named NL`s top September player

Christian Yelich`s spent September in pursuit of the National League Triple Crown, putting together numbers that have propelled him into the frontrunner seat for the NL MVP Award. In the American League, Mike Trout was named Angels MVP by his peers and put the stamp on another stellar season. For their efforts, Yelich and Trout were named the AL and NL Players of the Month, respectively, for September.
