MILWAUKEE -- The Tigers` attempt to play spoiler this weekend in the National League Central did not go well. The result of Spencer Turnbull`s attempt to play himself into the conversation for a rotation spot next season remains to be seen. The rookie right-hander kept Christian Yelich quiet but couldn`t stop the Brewers from closing Detroit`s season with an 11-0 loss on Sunday at Miller Park.
