Steve Pearce is embracing the role of Yankees tormenter, and Red Sox Nation is loving every bit of it. The Red Sox had been completely stifled by Yankees lefty J.A. Happ in the first five innings Friday night until Pearce mashed a grand slam over the Green Monster to cut an 8-0 lead in half in the sixth inning.
