Shahabuddin aide murder case: 1 held

PATNA: One Tariq was arrested from Jehanabad on Saturday in connection with the murder of Tabrez Alam alias Firoz near the Kotwali police station in Patna on Friday. Tabrez was a member of the Gang of Wasseypur in Jehanabd and once a sharp shooter of former Siwan MP Mohammad Shahabuddin. Tariq had recently come out of jail on bail. According to police sources, he is also named in several cases of extortion and kidnapping.
