Surat: The brutal murders of the woman and her son wouldn´t have been an unsolved mystery for three long months had the police taken the missing persons report filed by her husband seriously. In fact, victim Manju Yadav´s husband Sadabrij had even told police that she could have eloped with Suresh Gautam when he lodged the report with Limbayat police station on May 13, two days after she was killed. Police have been blaming the absence of CCTV footages as well as mobile location details for the delay in cracking the case.
