Kerala floods: These doctors use Facebook to reach out to patients in relief camps

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With over 3 lakh flood affected people being housed in around 3000 relief camps across the state, a group of doctors have launched a Facebook initiative to reach out to the people in camps by offering medical assistance and tips on sanitation. Aswathy Soman, the public medical officer of Mobile dispensary, Nilambur has got on board a team of around 10 doctors located in various parts of the world who would take turns to address medical concerns and answer queries on the Facebook page Healthcare online.
