Manaea, A`s out to take first place in finale

The A`s will turn to lefty Sean Manaea (11-8, 3.44 ERA) in Sunday afternoon`s 1:05 p.m. PT series finale at the Coliseum against the Astros, who will counter with right-hander Justin Verlander (11-8, 2.52). Manaea is 6-2 with a 3.39 ERA since the start of June and pitched into the eighth inning against the Mariners on Monday, allowing two runs on five hits with three strikeouts.
