Behind seven dominant innings from Aaron Nola, the Phillies won consecutive games for the first time in nearly two weeks with a victory over the Mets on Friday night at Citizens Bank Park. Nola allowed just one earned run on three hits to lower his ERA to 2.24. He walked one and hit a batter while striking out 11. Noah Syndergaard allowed the first four Phillies to reach base, falling into a three-run hole from which the Mets never emerged.
