Johnson gets it done as Red Sox upend Rays

Red Sox starter Brian Johnson gave up three runs in the first inning, but a balanced offensive effort put Boston in front and Johnson quieted the Rays over the rest of his solid 5 2/3-inning start. Xander Bogaerts led the charge with a triple, two doubles and two RBIs, and Jackie Bradley Jr. made a terrific catch and contributed an RBI double. Joey Wendle and Carlos Gomez delivered RBI hits in the first for Tampa Bay, but `opener` Ryne Stanek and long man Yonny Chirinos couldn`t hold the lead.
