Cyber stalkers on prowl, 50 cases every 30 days

HYDERABAD: Several women and minor girls are falling prey to stalking online as well as on the phone, with city police receiving nearly 50 such complaints every month. However, very few cases are filed as most women and girls avoid going to police. Data provided by the Cyber Crime police has revealed that this year, as of July, the number of social media harassment cases has already touched 25 as compared to a similar number of cases filed in the entire 2017.
