GURUGRAM: The controversy over offering namaz in open spaces reared its head in the city again on Friday when an imam and his four aides were called to a police station for questioning. The police summons came after a group of people gathered on a private plot in Basai for prayers. Police said the plot was not in the list of 37 sites the administration has earmarked for holding namaz, an exercise that was undertaken earlier this year in the face of fringe Hindutva outfits opposing Friday prayers in open spaces.
