Poland`s president said he would veto a law which was approved by Parliament in July and was proposed by the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party which would have benefitted larger political parties on Thursday, according to Politico. Andrzej Duda said the law would benefit larger parties, including the eurosceptic PiS and the main opposition group, since it would make parties need as much as 16.5 percent of the vote to win seats in the European legislature.
