GURUGRAM: As many as nine hosepipes have been placed illegally in a 100-year-old check dam apparently to extract water from a natural drain in the Aravalis, alleged Manesar villagers who have lodged a complaint with the forest department demanding action. The villagers also claimed that several trees had been uprooted, disturbing the ecology of the area. `Some illegal activities are being carried out by some defence personnel in the forest land under the village panchayat of Manesar.
