GURUGRAM: The sewage disposal system in Palam Vihar had been disrupted around six months ago during the construction work of the Bajghera flyover. The colony´s sewage lines had been cut off from the master line, making the manholes in the area overflow and sewage water collect on roads at several places. After the latest spell of rain, the situation has become a public health hazard, according to residents. Sources said the public works department (PWD) had asked the contractor assigned to build the Bajghera flyover to connect the colony´s sewage lines to the master line as part of the project.
