NOIDA: The health department has asked the children´s hospital in Sector 30 to provide free of cost eye-testing to prematurely born children having retinopathy, apart from a few other treatments. Chief medical officer Anurag Bhargava told TOI that the health department had asked the hospital to also provide cataract surgery to adult patients free of cost and also eye-tests for children suffering with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) which leads to bleeding or scarring in the eyes.
