Austin cranks homer to lift Twins in debut

In his first game with the Twins on Saturday night, Tyler Austin`s bat was a big difference in Minnesota`s 4-3 win over the Tigers at Comerica Park. Austin`s two-run homer in the 5th put the Twins ahead for good. Kyle Gibson worked seven innings of one-run ball to earn the win. Niko Goodrum homered for the second consecutive game in the ninth to pull the Tigers within a run.
