Bid to make city street-smart before hockey tourney

BHUBANESWAR: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) here has planned to install chairs and benches along major roads for people to relax. In several western countries, the streetscapes have been designed not only taking into account the roads for vehicles but also to encourage smart living. The BDA has floated a tender inviting plans and proposals from private parties to come up with designs for the street benches.
