To avoid paying debt, man kills friend´s son

CHANDIGARH: A registered medical practitioner of Yamunanagar allegedly pushed the 23-year-old son of his friend into a swollen Yamuna on August 8 to avoid paying the money he owed them. The incident came to light on Thursday, when cops booked the accused,Naresh Kumar, in a case of murder registered at Farakpur police station. A Yamunanagar court has remanded him in four-day police custody for the murder. Police said the car in which Pintu had gone to meet him was recovered from the river.
