Doon Express hits SUV, four schoolkids hurt

VARANASI: Four schoolchildren were injured when a SUV they were travelling in was hit by Doon Express at a railway gate in Khan Patti locality on Varanasi-Jaunpur route of Northern Railway on Friday. While the gateman was suspended, an inquiry has been ordered into the lapse. The vehicle, carrying 10 schoolchildren, was stuck on tracks when the gateman closed the gates for the train, sources said.
