Nelson Cruz`s two-run double sparked a three-run eighth inning on Friday, as the Mariners` new-look lineup won a second straight game against the Astros. Mike Leake tossed a quality start over six innings for Seattle, while Gerrit Cole allowed two runs in his first seven innings and two in the eighth. Houston reliever Ryan Pressly gave up Cruz`s double, which helps the Mariners keep pace in the American League Wild Card race.
