Chris Taylor hit a tie-breaking leadoff home run in the ninth, one of five Dodgers long balls on the night, to help power an 8-5 win over the Rockies at Coors Field on Thursday. Brian Dozier hit a two-run homer to pad the lead in the ninth as Los Angeles moved into a tie for first place in the National League West. Joc Pederson, Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger also homered for the Dodgers. Chris Iannetta hit a three-run home run for the Rockies. Both starters, Los Angeles` Ross Stripling and Colorado`s Tyler Anderson, tossed six innings of one-run ball.
