Kennedy to face Brewers in first MLB start

Right-hander Brett Kennedy makes his long-awaited big league debut when the series against the Brewers continues tonight at 5:10 PT. In a loaded San Diego farm system, Kennedy isn`t a Top 30 prospect, but he`s been dominant in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League this season, where he went 10-0 with a 2.72 ERA in 16 starts. Kennedy will oppose former Padres right-hander Jhoulys Chacin, who starts for the Brewers.
