In first start since July 1 after hitting the DL with a blister, Chad Bettis went 4 2/3 innings and gave up nine runs on eight hits -- with Starling Marte`s first-inning homer also included -- with two walks and three strikeouts in a 10-2 loss to the Pirates at Coors Field.
