Mob kills tranquilized leopard in Dungarpur village, 4 injured

UDAIPUR: In yet another case of man-animal conflict, inmates at Purani Ubali village under Chitri police station of Dungarpur district mercilessly killed a leopard on Sunday evening. The beast had reportedly sneaked into the village in the noon and mauled four persons, who were later taken to Galiyakot hospital for treatment. The furious mob pelted stones and beat it with sticks even after it was tranquilized and caught by the rescue team including forest and police officials.
