T-Mobile was the first US carrier to really push the idea of free international roaming. although the data speeds have always been terrible. Still, your T-Mobile phone works in other countries, which is more than you could say a few years ago. Now, Tmo has expanded free roaming to even more countries, and there`s a cheaper option if you want LTE data while traveling the world. Before this announcement, T-Mobile offered free international roaming in 140 countries around the world.
