Outgoing MC chief feels financial crunch is hampering Ludhiana´s growth

LUDHIANA: Outgoing MC commissioner Jaskiran Singh, who would now serve as director, rural development and panchayats, showed partial satisfaction with his term in the industrial town. Jaskiran Singh said though he tried to give a required boost to the Smart City and AMRUT works, financial constraints made him helpless in doing a bit more. The 2007-batch IAS KP Brar will replace Singh as the MC commissioner now. Interestingly, Singh had joined as MC Commissioner while replacing Brar on March 17, 2017.
