NEW DELHI: As the power tussle between Delhi´s AAP government and the lieutenant governor rages on while garbage piles up in overflowing landfills and on the streets, the Supreme Court on Tuesday sought to find where the buck stops and who is to be held responsible for dealing with the mess. A bench of Justices Madan B Lokur and Deepak Gupta, giving vent to their exasperation over rising mounds at landfills and lack of waste management, directed that the LG and Delhi government file affidavits as to which set of authorities are to be held to account for dealing with the city´s garbage.
