Astros finalize deal with 1st-round pick Beer

The Astros on Wednesday announced they have signed Seth Beer, an outfielder from Clemson taken by the club with the No. 28 overall pick in this year`s MLB Draft. Having flown to Houston to sign his contract, Beer is now ready to begin his pro career at Class A Short-Season Tri-City.
