Pirates hope retaliation energizes clubhouse

Josh Harrison was hit by 23 pitches last season, but the Pirates rarely retaliated. Ivan Nova did earlier this season, when Harrison`s left hand was broken by a fastball from Marlins starter Jose Urena. Joe Musgrove did it again on Monday night at Chase Field, plunking the D-backs` Chris Owings after Harrison was hit in the upper back.
