A ransom was paid for an Etobicoke man abducted last Friday but who remains missing, Toronto police say.Jammar Allison, 25, was initially reported as a missing person case, police said. However, police later said that they had reason to believe he was kidnapped.A ransom demand had been issued and paid, prior to police getting involved, Const. Jenifferjit Sidhu said.No contact has been made since, either with the kidnappers or Allison himself, Sidhu said.Allison was last seen Friday at 10 p.m. near Highway 427 and Rexdale Blvd.According to investigators, Allison was “escorted” into a dark Caravan with tinted windows in the Rexdale neighbourhood. He has been described as six-foot, thin build and was last seen wearing pink shorts and a black T-shirt.
