Colon called for opener at Angel Stadium

Bartolo Colon faces his former team when the Rangers open a three-game series with the Angels at 9:07 CT tonight at Angel Stadium. Colon is 12-8 with a 3.62 ERA in 25 starts and one relief appearance in his career against the Halos. The one relief appearance was on April 10, when he allowed one run in three innings. He is 2-2 with a 4.15 ERA in his last six starts. Jaime Barria will pitch for the Angels.
