One person in life-threatening condition after shooting in city´s west end

One male was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the city’s west end Thursday night, according to police. Toronto Police responded to numerous calls about shots heard in an apartment building on the corner of Weston Rd. and Sheppard Ave. W.Police arrived on scene at 10:53 p.m. and found one male victim in the hallway with an upper body gunshot wound. Toronto Police spokesperson Katrina Arrogante said the victim was not breathing when police got to him, but a pulse was found.Paramedics rushed him to a trauma centre in serious condition.No other victims were found on scene and there is no information on possible suspects yet, according to police.
