Wacha cools Crew as Cards pound 3 HRs

Michael Wacha didn`t allow a hit until the fifth inning as he held NL Central-leading Milwaukee to one run over 6 2/3, improving to 6-1 with a 2.71 ERA. The Cardinals` offense backed him with 10 hits, including solo homers by Harrison Bader, Matt Carpenter and Francisco Pena. The Brewers, who had a four-game winning streak snapped, lost shortstop Tyler Saladino to an ankle sprain that will send him to the disabled list.
